Apprenticeship - Pirbright - CGRACW1

 Role: Apprentice Nursery Nurse
 Location: Pirbright , Surrey
 Reference: CGRACW1
 Hours: 42.5 per week
 Type: Full Time, Permanent
 Salary: Up to £7,500 + travel costs to training location
 About Employer:

The group is an established, family owned business which has been operating for over 20 years. It is an independent group with 8 nurseries across Surrey, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. They provide childcare for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years and their mission is to provide the best childcare available in every location they operate by having -Best Staff, Best Facilities and Best Training.

They are currently seeking 'Apprentices' to join the apprenticeship program. They are able to offer you the opportunity to gain Early Years and Childcare Qualification through attending Training Days held by their training company.

 Key Responsibilities:
  • To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, secure and stimulating environment.
  • To have knowledge, understanding and confidence in keeping children safe and implement our safeguarding procedures appropriately.
  • Carry out key person role building effective relationships with the parents and children and meeting their children's individual care and learning needs.
  • Supervise, observe, encourage and support the children in meeting their personal targets through their interests ensuring they progress and develop leading them onto the path of school readiness.
  • To plan, prepare and deliver the curriculum with the team to consistently meet the requirements of the EYFS.
  • To establish a trusting relationship with parents through working in partnership with them, giving daily informative feedback in order to meet their child's needs.
  • Adhere to all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery.
  • To work as part of a team and with outside agencies supporting children's needs appropriately.
  • Undertake our mandatory induction program.
  • Highest standards of Health & Safety & well being.

 Minimum Qualifications, Training and Experience:
  1. Predicated GCSE grade 1-c in English and Maths
  2. Be passionate about working with early years
  3. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality

Safeguarding: We are committed to ensuring everyone is responsible for Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.  The recruitment process supports safer recruitment practices and all staff are required to complete safeguarding training as part of their induction program.
